Our Mission

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. The American Red Cross - Key Chapter has been working closely with the residents of Clarke, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Neshoba, Newton and Scott counties to fulfill this mission.

Our History

The American Red Cross is one of the nation's largest humanitarian organizations, dedicated to meeting the needs of people throughout the United States as well as the world through local Red Cross societies.

The American Red Cross - Key Chapter was chartered in 1917 as part of the American National Red Cross. The Key Chapter continues to provide emergency disaster relief, health and safety programs, services to members of the Armed Forces and training classes to all age groups.
